Missing Partners

In Flowpad, when a student registered for a team event, and entered their partner’s name, we’d have a missing partner tab that would say Student A’s partner is not registered.

In StoaHub, missing partners are not allowed. All registrations are connected league wide. Students can’t just enter a random person’s name. Their partner has to be registered with Stoa. If a student tries to enter an event that requires a partner, and they don't enter a valid partner name, they will get an error.

If they enter a valid partner and click save on their registration, their partner is now in that event with them.

They are counted as 1 entry, which is a team of 2 in partnered events. Their family now has a balance with the tournament for that event. The parent and student in that family get an email that the student was partnered up and they need to log into the tournament to complete their registration.

When they log into their account and go to register, they will see that their registration is already started and that student is already in that partnered event. They can then add other events if they wish. Once they pay, their registration is complete.

People can’t hold a spot anymore because 1 entry in a partnered event is 1 team of 2 people.

If registration closes and one of the partner hasn't paid their registration, their team is at risk of being dropped. You can see who their teammate is when you click on the fee sheet.

You can then let both students and their parents know that they are at risk of being dropped if they do not pay for their registration by whatever date you decide.
