StoaHub - How to add a judge bypass code for staff

Judge registration is required for all families to complete their registration. If someone tries to register their students for a tournament and they don't add a judge, they will get this error message when they go to "Pay Fees & Complete Registration".

In order to allow staff and/or others to bypass this error, you can create a Judge Code.

1. Click on your tournament Admin tab.

2. Click on Setup and then click on Judges.

3. Click on Judge Requirements

4. Enter an override code for staff and/or others you would like to allow to bypass the judging requirements and hit save.

5. You can now share that code with families. They can enter that code when they go to their registration and click the "Judges" tab.

6. When they enter the code correctly, they will receive this message:

7. To see who has redeemed the code on the admin side, click on Admin - Entries - Families

8. Click on Judge Req Overrides. There you can see who used the code, and you can even remove a code from a family if you think they used it in error.
